Carnsight Communications celebrates landmark year of growth with 16 new clients, 2 new hires, and over 1000 pieces of coverage

BATH, 11 DECEMBER 2024: Carnsight Communications, a boutique PR and social media agency based near Bath, has ended the year on a high after securing 16 new clients, 2 new hires, and over 1000 pieces of coverage. 2024 has been a year of growth for the agency, marked by new hires, well-earned promotions, and powerful content.

The team began the year with the launch of their eBook, Practically Powerful PR, an accessible guide to the art of communications aimed at helping small businesses take on this key business function with confidence.

The agency welcomed Laura Witte, Social Media Manager, and Ellen Petit, who joined as an intern in July before quickly earning a promotion to Account Executive. Adding new strings to the agency’s bow, Witte brings extensive SEO knowledge while Petit rounds out the team’s experience with her talent for influencer outreach.

Alexandra Johansen, who brings a global expertise hailing from Australia, also celebrated a promotion to Account Manager, while Leigh-Ann Hewer showed her strength in leadership and client relations with a promotion to Account Director.

Jessica Morgan, Founder, was a finalist for 2024’s the Business Desk South West Leadership Awards in the mentoring category. She continues to support and nurture new talent as part of the Bristol Creative Industries and the Early Career’s Foundation mentoring programme.

Carnsight Communications also joined the Living Wage Foundation as an accredited employer, reaffirming its commitment to not just talking about fair pay, but making it happen.

Founder Jessica Morgan comments, “We’re in our eighth year now and I think you can tell we’re really hitting our stride. Numbers aren’t the be all and end all but, I have to say, it’s a great feeling to have achieved over a thousand pieces of coverage this year.

Morgan adds: “Of course, looking back at this year, it hasn’t all been easy. Times are tough and the industry has changed a lot, but I like to think my team and I have become pretty good at rolling with the punches. I also believe in our business leaders and in their resilience, and I count myself lucky to be here and to be able to be a part of this community. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved – and better still, so are our clients.”

Leigh-Ann Hewer, Account Director, comments: “Watching the social media side of the business grow so rapidly this year has been particularly exciting. We’re seeing more and more clients opt for both PR and socials, which is a testament to how complementary earned and owned media can be.”

She adds: “I think 2025 is going to be a real winner. Naturally, it won’t be without its challenges. Success is certainly hard won, but we’re well positioned to make the most of everything next year will have to offer for both Carnsight and our clients.”

Carnsight Communications works with a wide range of agencies and founder-led businesses across the country, including The Printing Charity, Sulis Hospital, The Treatment Rooms London, Hummingbird Events, Leicester City Council’s Dock Leicester, and redpill.
