HollyBirdVA Celebrates Business Expansion!

After less than a year since launching her enterprise, Wiltshire-based independent Virtual Assistant Holly Bird has made a big decision for her business.

HollyBirdVA was launched in April 2024, offering a variety of administrative services to small and medium businesses. Following its success to date, founder and owner of the business, Holly Bird, has taken the decision to scale the business and build a team of expert associates.

“Through my journey to becoming a Virtual Assistant, I have come across many VAs who, despite their exceptional skills, struggle to market themselves and network due to their introverted nature. I felt drawn to helping them, while ensuring that clients looking for specific services, are matched with a VA professional who can provide them with a tailored service. With this strategy I can serve both VA and client.”

With these fabulous associates, HBVA is able to expand its service offering and cater to a range of industries. The company will boast professionals in social media management and content creation, diary, calendar and email inbox management, blog writing, research, editorial, bookkeeping and more. Whatever your needs, HBVA will be able to connect you to a Virtual Assistant who can help.

“I can’t afford it”

Small business owners often feel that they can’t afford a VA. What’s important to remember is:

  • You don’t have to worry about paying into a pension pot, holiday pay or any other employee related costs.
  • The time you pay for a VA to work – they’ll actually be working. They block out all distractions and track their time. Their focus is entirely on the tasks you’ve set them, therefore they tend to be far more productive and efficient than other employees, meaning fewer hours are required. You’d be amazed at what a VA could accomplish for your business in 3 or 4 hours a week!
  • They specialise in the tasks you’ve set them, ensuring a high quality of work, making it well-worth the investment.

“How will it save me time if I have to teach them what I need them to do? That will take up even more of my time!”

Good point. Frankly, the best way forward is to work as a team with your VA. When just starting out, you may need spend a few hours talking them through how your business works and how you’d like them to perform certain tasks. You might ask your VA to provide some advice or guidance or simply take point on a certain aspect of your day-to-day, such as social media management. Making sure your strategy is in place and executing it for you. But once your VA gets going, you’ll either have an extra few hours a week on your hands to use as you please, or – best case scenario – there will practically be two of you! Imagine how much you could achieve! How many times have you wished you could duplicate yourself to accomplish more?!

Each HollyBirdVA associate will be fully insured, ICO registered and fully vetted by Holly. Trust, Professionalism, Communication, Commitment and Adaptability are the core values of HBVA, and each Virtual Assistant under this umbrella will align with these values.

“I’m so thrilled about this development for HollyBirdVA and the opportunity to work with more wonderful VAs and clients. I can’t wait to see where 2025 will lead us.”
