I am a Solicitor specialising in family law and have done so now for approximately 15 years. I am extremely passionate about what I do and like to think I am a little different from the traditional perception of what a Solicitor is.
My expertise falls across the full spectrum of family law to include divorce, financial disputes, separation agreements, cohabitation agreement, pre-nuptial agreements, domestic abuse and children matters.
The majority of the people who come to see me are going through a really difficult time in their lives. I focus on providing realistic advice and finding a solution to help them move on. I don’t use lots of legal terminology – who understands that?
Awdry Bailey & Douglas are a full-service law firm, with five offices across Wiltshire. We provide legal advice to you, your family and for your business needs.
I am a Solicitor in the firms litigation team, specialising in general civil litigation disputes which include contractual claims, debt recovery, personal injury, landlord and tenant, contested probate, boundary disputes and many other types of dispute.
I enjoy helping others and communicating with clients from a wide range of backgrounds to understand their concerns, needs and give them advice so that they can make informed decisions. Often, I see clients who haven’t had anyone to ‘fight their corner’ or articulate what they are trying to say and so I am very passionate about bringing justice and giving clients a voice.
I live with my husband and two children who keep me very busy! I am an avid walker and enjoy travelling to different destinations. I enjoy surfing although I probably think I am better than I really am. I like Artisan Gin and I do Pilates and Yoga – not together though because that would not be a good combination!
