I am the Head of Family Law at Awdry Law, having worked within family law since qualifying in 1995. I have been worked predominantly in North Wiltshire during that time and I am based in the Devizes office.
My expertise falls across the full spectrum of family law including divorce, finances, children, domestic abuse, cohabitation agreements and pre-nuptial agreements.
As a member of resolution, I am a trained collaborative lawyer and very much advocate a non-confrontational manner when seeking to advise and assist clients. This means I am also able to provide clients with advice and support utilising the Resolution Together framework whereby I can see the couple together. If necessary, I am also an experienced advocate and will ensure clients feel supported through the court process.
The majority of the people who come to see me are going through a really difficult time in their lives. I focus on providing realistic advice and finding a solution to help them move on. I don’t use lots of legal terminology – who understands that?
Away from work, when not running around after my 2 children, I run and enjoy yoga and red wine – although not together!
