I’m Lisa Russell, founder and CEO of Liruss Virtual Business Services Ltd, a UK-based virtual assistant agency. I set up Liruss in November 2017 and have run it full-time since June 2018, building a team of VAs who support small, ambitious service-based businesses, typically with 1–10 employees, although we do work with significantly larger businesses too on occasion.
My background prior to running a business was is in Sales, in various sectors – Finance, Telecoms, IT, and Events and that experience shaped how Liruss works today – we take on the mental load and day-to-day detail that business leaders don’t have time for, so they can focus on what only they can do. Every VA on our team is directly employed rather than freelance, with people based right across the UK, from Devon to Scotland to Southampton. I match business owners to the VA that best matches their personality but also what they need support with. For some clients they want someone who can whizz through a to do list – for others, they require a more proactive approach.
