Hi, I’m Ellie, co-founder of Octopus Films. We help our clients communicate with clarity through impactful and engaging video.
My career started in television, and I spent a very fun decade working on all manner of programmes – from Deal or No Deal, to Bargain Hunt to my personal favourite – a documentary series based in the South of France following the French wine harvest. Working on high profile shows laid the foundations for everything we do at Octopus – clear narratives given the same care as a broadcast documentary.
I love the variety of my work. As a mini agency we’re able to flex to our clients’ needs and budgets, and we work with businesses and organisations of all sizes. In one particularly eclectic month I found myself producing a series of explainer video for the NHS, shooting a hero video for an equine vet, covering a panel talk for Dyson and editing a climate change documentary for the University of Bath. Although we work across a wide variety of sectors, the result is always the same – polished films that connect with audiences.
