Hi, I’m Giles, co-founder of Octopus Films.
As a videographer and editor it’s my job to make you and your business look polished and professional on screen.
When filming I try to create a low pressure, calm environment. Not everyone likes the idea of being on camera, but I’m happy that many clients feed back that I helped them relax and they end up really enjoying the process.
I also work as a TV camera operator, so you might see my name on the credits on programmes like Countryfile, Antiques Roadshow and Homes Under the Hammer (which I’ve been shooting for 25 years!). We bring a broadcast mindset to every stage of the video production process – proper storytelling, proper craft – while staying small enough to be nimble and easy to work with.
We’re completely flexible and work with marketing agencies, in house marketing professionals and directly with business owners. Whether you have a clear idea of what you want, or just a vague idea that your business needs video, we’re always happy to chat through ideas.
