Pam Rawlings, Founder of P²HR, found her niche in HR in 2010 – tackling people challenges head-on with her no-nonsense, solutions-focused approach.
After five years in in-house HR for a large insurance company, Pam shifted gears to consultancy in 2015. Eight years later, she decided it was time to lead, acquiring the HR arm of the business she worked for and transforming it into P2HR. Pam’s journey is a testament to her courage, grit, and determination. From her late-blooming milestones—becoming a mother at 37, buying her first house at 37, graduating university at 40, getting married at 48—to launching her own business at 53, Pam proves it’s never too late to take charge of your dreams. With P2HR, she’s not just leading; she’s transforming the way businesses handle HR, one partnership at a time.
2024 brought Pam one of her most valuable lessons: surround yourself with like-minded people who share your vision and don’t be afraid to walk away from those who don’t. Joining the right networking group has been instrumental in this, providing collaboration opportunities with other members of the group.

P2HR is an HR consultancy based in Bristol and the South West and we thrive on making life easier for business owners, taking the ‘HR headache’ off their plates so they can focus on what they do best. From onboarding to exiting and everything in between, Pam’s team handles it all, whether coaching managers or managing tricky people-related matters directly. Our practical and pragmatic approach means we try and find solutions for any people-related matters, whilst trying to keep your organisation on the straight and narrow.
It’s not always about ‘hiring and firing’ though! We work with our clients to upskill their managers, whether through group training sessions or individual support to enable them to manage their teams effectively. We can do as little or as much as the client needs and we don’t tell you how to run your business – we let you know the legal and best practice stance versus what you want to achieve and the risks associated with both avenues and leave you to make an informed decision. That doesn’t mean you then have to fly solo, we will be with you every step of the way.
