Rather Be Canicrossing and BTB Dog Supplies are thrilled to announce the Tewkesbury Dog Show 2025, a fun-filled, family-focused event with a powerful purpose. Taking place in the heart of Tewkesbury, this special day brings the local community together to celebrate dogs while raising much-needed support for Animal FoodBank UK.

With so many families facing financial difficulties, the event aims to give back by supporting a charity that’s truly making a difference—ensuring pets stay fed and loved in their homes through tough times.

The day promises something for everyone:

🐶 Fun Dog Show – Open to all breeds and backgrounds. 🐾 Dog ‘Have-a-Go’ Activities – Including Hoopers, Scurry, Scentwork, Mantrailing, and Enrichment Skills. 🛍️ Over 30 Local Traders – A vibrant marketplace of dog products, handmade gifts, and more. 🎟️ Mega Charity Raffle – With prizes donated by over 70 local businesses, including wellbeing bundles, free MOTs, meals for two, and exclusive experiences. 🎉 Family Fun Zone – Bouncy castles, children’s games (dog themed of course), and family activities to keep everyone entertained. ☕ Refreshments by Gupshill Manor – Delicious food and drinks available on site.

“This event is all about community—celebrating the joy dogs bring to our lives while giving something back,” Tash – Owner of Btb Dog Supplies, a local Tewkesbury based business. “We want families to come together, have fun, and support a cause that’s helping people and pets through real challenges.”

Who are the Animal Foodbank Charity?

Animal FoodBank UK’s mission is to support pet owners facing financial hardship across England, Scotland, and Wales. By providing free pet food and essential supplies, the charity ensures that beloved pets remain with their families during times of crisis. They currently give out over 3,000 meals per month across the UK. This is helping people to keep their pets in their homes for longer, and reduce the amount that would need to surrender to a rescue, or abandon on the streets, if the support wasn’t there. They have over 100 volunteers across the UK, with multiple in the Tewkesbury and Gloucestershire area.

AFBUK offers support without a referral like a normal food bank would require. The charity also works closely with Police, Social Workers and Food Banks to ensure that no pet is going hungry.

🎟️ Entry: £5 entry on gate, redeemable in Gupshill Manor function room.

Dog Show Entry £2.50 each or 5 for £10.

Proceeds from the event will go directly to Animal FoodBank UK, a charity dedicated to providing food and supplies for pets in homes facing financial hardship.
