Since pivoting into hospitality over 13 years ago, I have owned and operated 3 boutique hotel businesses, all of which have been turnaround projects.
I am now the Owner and Managing Director of Stratton House Hotel & Spa, where I have overseen a full repositioning of the business, transforming a 17th-century Georgian manor into a modern country house hotel that balances historic charm with contemporary comfort. The hotel now features 43 individually styled en-suite bedrooms, the light-filled Garden Restaurant, the welcoming Oak Bar & Lounge, and our award-winning Spa in the Garden – a purpose-built space designed to offer indulgent experiences in a tranquil setting.
With a focus on seasonal British menus, relaxed hospitality, and warm service, Stratton House has become a destination in its own right – for stays, dining, spa days, and special occasions alike.
Under my leadership, the hotel continues to grow its reputation across leisure, events, and corporate markets, while staying rooted in the welcoming spirit of the Cotswolds.
